Finished reading The Road the other day, and can I just say how amazing it was? I was a little worried (as I always am) since it is such a popular book, that I’d be disappointed. Though it took me a while to really get into it, by the end of the book I was nearly moved to tears. It was heartbreaking, haunting, and somehow remained hopeful. If you haven’t read it yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up. Now. :)

p.s. excited to receive my copy of Blood Meridian!
